I had the chicken souvlaki, a Greek salad, feta cheese, pita bread, a big plate of Greek yellow rice, and some baklava for dessert.
Everything was delicious, and the place wasn't very crowded even on Saturday night.
Huge portions.
Definitely a great place to go for a casual dinner. Andrew F

If you want good food, large quantities and low prices - this is your place.
My wife and I tend to share a Gyro platter and Gyro sandwich.
The platter comes with a salad which is big enough for the two of us.
If the sandwich is not enough, I can always eat some of the platter.
And there will still be food to take home.
We like to finish up by sharing a piece of baklava. Victor K

Great Greek joint, better than any local diner.
The gyros are the best, as per their name and the variety of Mediterranean food is nice.

Best place in Westchester County to go off of your diet.
Generous portions, yummy entrees and good service make this a winner.
Great for a quick bite after a movie.
If you have kids - order the flaming cheese, they'll never forget it. David P.

I'm not sure how they do it, but this place is slam-packed busy every time (people practically knocking each other down to get through the door) I've been there, yet the food has been delicious and the service has been quick and spot-on.
The lamb souvlaki is cooked perfectly...still pink in the middle. The chicken souvlaki is tasty and moist. The platter is enough food for me to have at least 1 more meal if not 2. The grape leaves are AMAZING. The pita is warm and soft and the tzatziki is the best I've ever had...and I've been to Athens and to Santorini! The Greek salad that comes with the platter is big and the dressing is to die for. I meant to buy a jar of it before I left the last time but forgot. Oh well, excellent excuse for me to make another trip to Tarrytown.
Go there. You won't be disappointed.

This is a great greasy spoon kinda place. It's always packed with people whenever I go there.
Tonight I had the gyro in a pita and the avgolemono soup. Let me tell you, I have not had such a delicious gyro sandwich in 23 years. There was a gyro stand I used to go to when I worked on Wall Street, which had the best gyros around. Now I have found its match. The gyro was really tasty with no gamey flavor that I hate so much. The shredded romain was so crisp and fresh, onions without the stinky sting, fresh ripe tomatoes and some fresh chopped dill topped off with tzatziki sauce.....so fresh.....so delicious I LOVED IT!!!!!!
You'll always get a warm smile and welcome from the owner, George when you walk in. Warm smile, good food to satisfy the belly, what more can you ask for.

My family and I have been coming here for years and we love this place. It does get very crowded and there can be a wait but it is always worth it. The service is friendly and fast. All the food is so yummy that you have to try everything. Jenn B. Tarrytown, NY |

Really good food, very generous helpings, very reasonable prices, casual. The meat is always cooked just right, the salads are always fresh. Lunch times gets rather busy & can be a bit of a wait but turnover is usually pretty fast. I think the max I've had to wait is about 15 minutes. Wouldn't recommend it for large groups though. Yummy yummy yummy!
